My Story.

BUSINESS IS IN MY DNA

When I was 6 years old I started climbing orange trees to pick fruit to sell. By the time I was 17 I was working my way through college as a title searcher.

I am lucky and grateful that I did not have to learn the value of hard work on my own. My father started out as a migrant farm worker who became a self-made real estate developer, builder, and hard-money lender.

There are many things may father and I have in common:

  • We are driven by the work, not the praise.
  • Both of us believe that our creativity abilities are endless.
  • Belief in our endless creativity gives us the motivation to keeping working on a problem until it is solved.

  • Possessing the ability to do things very well is a special skill that not everyone possesses.

  • Helping others with our special skill is our first response to a situation. It is part of our destiny.

  • Dad and I know that success is a choice that needs to be made every single day.

  • Since we both worked in land, we are completely in awe of the transformative quality of property rights.
